Accrual Method
Collection was gifted to the Danforth in 2006. Unfortunately they sat uncatalogued for close to 10 years. It took until an IMLS grant awarded in 2015 through 2016 for this collection to be catalogued and put into the collections database. - Rachel 2021 Came to us from Robert Fuller. Judith Kerr's 1986 thesis notes Meta working on this piece between 1913 and 1915. It was exhibited in a 1922 memorial exhibition for Mary Baldwin at the Boston Public Library. There might be two versions?!? There is a photograph from Warde and Chrislan of a very similar piece. As it appears they did not donate any pieces with the rest of the family, it is very likely they have a second piece. From family inventories Robert Fuller had one.
