The John Milton Reading Room

The John Milton Reading Room is a project dedicated to the preservation of John Milton’s poetry and Prose. It contains all of Milton’s poetry, written in English, Latin, Greek, and Italian. It contains a small collection of his prose, with every work being fully annotated. Serves as a library for Milton’s works, and provides a place to read all of his biggest works.

This project archives the bulk of Milton’s work, published from 1645-1674.

This DH project started in 1997, and the project became digital in 2001-2002

The John Milton reading Room's primary audience is scholar's interested in Milton's work, but the information is available to anyone who may be interested in Milton's Work.

The main Language of the sources is English, But there are versions of Milton's poetry published in English, Greek, Italian, and Latin.
