Head and neck of a young man. Subject has a narrow face, wavy hair, and is facing forward. The head and neck are mounted on top of a cubic shaped block which is about the same width as that of the head and this mounting has the head slightly leaning forward. Because of this leaning, the subject appears to be gazing more down than forward. The are painted brown with greenish patina. The base block is black paint and has a distinct depression, in the shape of a vertical rectangle, of 7.5X1.5X0.1 (HxWxD)

"#87" is written in pencil on the back and on the bottom, in pencil, is "JOAN BY" followed by 3 characters, possibly "EZZ" or "E22"
