Women Writers Project

The goal of the Women Writers Project is to revisit pre-Victorian texts, written by women. The research project dedicates itself to text encoding, accessibility to a variety of audiences, and electronic texts.

The requirements are a browser, subscription, and specialized knowledge on the word vector feature.

The Orlando Project is a similar project that is like the Women Writers Projects. The goal of the Orlando Project is to highlight feminist literary work.

Preexisting knowledge about the Victorian Period is helpful to anyone who visits the project.

There is different colored text and Images have a description of what the picture is displaying, which could help a larger audience understand the project. At the same time, not everyone can access the project (membership or account required), and some of the font is small and in lighter colored text.
