Description

Headless nude figure of boy leaning on rough rock.

Accrual Method

Collection was gifted to the Danforth in 2006. Unfortunately they sat uncatalogued for close to 10 years. It took until an IMLS grant awarded in 2015 through 2016 for this collection to be catalogued and put into the collections database. - Rachel 2021 Came to us from Pat West. Condition

Fair: Piece is in good condition except for the fact that the head of the child is missing. Few abrasions on child's right hand, on face of toack at 2 o'clock and on front edge at 5 o'clock and 6 o'clock. Base is chipped on left side at bottom in 3 places.
