Journal 3 Timeline
Stow's journal 3 revolves around her life, that includes family and friends from 1840 to 1842. She starts most of her entries with the weather, and then proceeds to discuss her activities, school lectures, routines and religion that follow. If at any time she gets sick, or something happens in and out of school, she would write it down. She also describes festivities that occur in those years, including Christmas and Thanksgiving, and any town happenings around that time.
Journal 4 Timeline
In the fourth volume of her journal, Stow writes about her school and life throughout the year 1842. She details her daily life, including what she does, where she goes, and who she goes with. This includes trips across eastern Massachusetts to visit family and friends, alongside trips to schools in the area. It also includes local events such as church, funerals, and smaller events such as walks and visits to friends. She also accounts her academic and religious studies, along with notes on sermons and Bible readings.
