For example, when a Greek schooner was sunk by the Sebenico, a gunboat under control of the British Admiral commanding the British squadron in Cretan waters, the Jersey City News included it as front page news. This expresses to us that not only did the editor believe that this was important news, but also that the audience is interested in current events outside of the United States.
