Description: This statue depicts a Baule man dressed in European attire as a result of colonialism. It has also been argued that these figures are a criticism of the Europeans and how they oppressive they were to the Africans. The man is dressed in European clothing which tells the viewer that he has been colonized by a European nation. He wears white shorts and a blue collared shirt.
