Description
Rubber mold shows figure in apparent movement with left arm raised above head. Right arm curves around front of figure at waist.
Accrual Method
Collection was gifted to the Danforth in 2006. Unfortunately they sat uncatalogued for close to 10 years. It took until an IMLS grant awarded in 2015 through 2016 for this collection to be catalogued and put into the collections database. - Rachel 2021 Title and date changed after research as highly resembles 'Lamentation' made after dancer Martha Graham that is owned by Warde and Chrislan - Rachel 2021

Condition
Good: Mold is in very good condition with only small amounts of plaster accretion on both front and back portions of rubber mold at midpoint and on lower section. Plaster support of back section of figure is missing a 2- inch section at left between 11 and 9 o'clock.
