Welcome to The Gatepost, 1932-1951
This website was created by students in Dr. Bartholomew Brinkman's Introduction to Digital Humanities course in Spring 2020.
Drawing on mapping, text encoding, and text analysis tools, students worked with images and text files from the first decades of Framingham State University's long-running newspaper, The Gatepost, to create pages on our shared Omeka S site, exploring such topics as newspaper poetry, women serving in World War II, and the history of the university's clubs and student government.
