Student Government at Framingham State
By: Lizet Vazquez
On this page, you will be able to see the connection between Student Government at Framingham State and campus life.
Student government members were the creators and founders of our school newspaper; The Gate Post. These women have built such an amazing foundation to get the entire school involved and updated on what they might have missed.
Trying to bring a sense of community to FSC the student government members decided that hosting events will allow them to bring everyone together.
Anything from bringing poetry readers, to hosting dances, and hosting charity Christmas events allowed the women of FSU to come together and show their school spirit.
By looking at issues from the Gate Post from the following years (1932-9151) I was able to see how involved student government from all classes wanted their fellow classmates to be.
A warm welcome to the incoming students at Framingham State & the brand new newspaper project!
A big shout out for students to get out and subscribe to the newspaper or to keep an eye out and purchase the newspapers indavidually.
The women of Framingham State take a tip to the City of Boston!
There they saw many historical sites and created much more of a connection with eachother
A fun event where the entire student body and faculty participated in.
During their regular assembly hour they decided to change the plan and have fun in the sun!
Bringing the fellow classes in this collgege to celebrate such a major milestone is important
Entity recognition is allowing us to see what else lies under the large umbrella that is student government.
Realizing the responsabilities that these members hold allos us to connect all of the mini topics we have decided to do a project on in our own Digital Humanities class.
