Description
inside: a poem written by Fuller, "The Christ Child"
"How sweet the sound of Christmas chimes/That tell of the Savior's birth,/The day of glad rejoicing/A day of joy and mirth.
The very stars more brightly shine/Within the frosty air,/And children's voices raise the strain/For Christ the Lord is there.
The Infant sweet in cradle low/Awaits the shepherd throng/And precious gifts from holy men,/Along with angel song.
How oft the story has been told/Of shepherds and of kings/who knealt before the Little One/With rich and humble things.
So, in our hearts this blessed day,/Rejoicing as we go,/Low bending to the little Child/Our homage to bestow.
