Description: Seated woman, arms resting on legs pulled in to torso. Figure's left arm and hand support the head; right arm stretches across body with hand holding elbow of left arm. Feet are crossed in front with right leg over left.
Accrual Method: Collection was gifted to the Danforth in 2006. Unfortunately they sat uncatalogued for close to 10 years. It took until an IMLS grant awarded in 2015 through 2016 for this collection to be catalogued and put into the collections database. - Rachel 2021 Images for this and 2006.401 were swapped. Unclear if objects were also numbered incorrectly. Need to check whenever the case can be opened. - Rachel 2021 Alternate title - Seated Figure with knees up. Came to us from Pat West

Condition: Poor: Very fragile. Cracks throughout. Chunks of raw clay falling off figure when moved, especially at base of body in rear.
